Mando’s Robinsons Brewery website wins ‘Site of the Year’ at the Sitecore Experience Awards
Mando were awarded two prestigious prizes at the Sitecore Experience Awards last week (Thursday 5th May 2016), for their Robinsons Brewery website.
Mando won ‘Best Use of Commerce’, and were also awarded the most coveted prize of ‘Site of the Year’.
The awards were presented by Sitecore UK Managing Director Simon Etherington, at the Sitecore Digital Summit in London.
Mando developed a new ‘mobile-first’ Sitecore/uCommerce digital marketing platform for Robinsons Brewery, representing a marked change in brewery marketing. The new site is achieving everything both Mando and Robinsons hoped it would - and much, much more.
In its first 3 months, the website increased sales by almost 130% compared to the same period last year; with Black Friday sales up a massive 690% compared to the same 24 hours the previous year. Traffic is up 80% on the same period last year. Visitors are also staying on the website longer, an additional 13 seconds.
The site beautifully reinforces the Robinsons brand by being welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. It clearly conveys the brewers’ rich heritage while being wholly relevant to the here and now. The site has provided Robinsons with a much clearer understanding of their customers, which means they’re able to offer a more personalised and meaningful journey, to cross-sell and upsell more effectively.
